APCe8650: Non-intelligent PCI Express Bus Carrier
This board interfaces standard Industry Pack (IP) mezzanine modules to a PCI Express bus on a PC-based computer system. Four IP module slots give you the freedom to mix a variety of I/O functions (A/D, D/A, digital in, digital out, serial I/O, etc.) on a single board. Or, combine modules of the same type for hundreds of channels on a single card. Either way, the APCe8650 saves your precious card slots and reduces your costs. Select I/O modules from Acromag's offering of more than forty models or use any third-party ANSI/VITA 4 compliant IP modules. The APCe8650 card is a Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) bus card and is a carrier for the Industrial I/O Pack (IP) mezzanine board field I/O modules. The carrier board provides a modular approach to system assembly, since each carrier can be populated with any combination of analog input/output, digital input/output, communication, etc. IP modules. Thus, the user can create a board which is customized to the application. This saves money and space - a single carrier board populated with IP modules may replace several dedicated function PCI or PCIe bus boards. Refurbishment

Industrial computer boards have all components with low MTBF numbers (such as capacitors and connectors) replaced and are washed in our PCB cleaner to remove dust and grime.

Repair

Industrial computer boards are fully diagnosed and repaired by our engineers. Logs of the problems encountered and solutions implemented are recorded.

Final Testing

Industrial computer boards have all I/O connections rigorously tested to ensure that everything is working properly before the board is certified as ready to ship.

Shipping

After photos are taken to document the exterior condition of the part, it is packaged and sent to the customer. ESD-safe materials are used to protect sensitive equipment on its journey.
