Mid-range "Shark Bay"SMB Network Security Appliance
The FW-7584 is a short-depth 1U Rack mount network security system utilizing the cutting edge capabilities of the Intel "Shark Bay"platform (Based on Intel Haswell CPU and H81 PCH). The system includes Intel AES New Instruction (Intel AES-NI), allowing security algorithms to benefit from hardware acceleration for data encryption and decryption. It is targeted at UTM, firewall, VPN, IPS and WAN optimization applications in small and medium enterprise environments. The system has 6 Intel GbE LAN ports with built-in LAN Bypass, plus 2 DDR3 1600 DIMMs (for a maximum of 32 GB RAM), 2 system cooling fans and an ATX power supply. Industrial computer boards are fully diagnosed and repaired by our engineers. Logs of the problems encountered and solutions implemented are recorded.

Industrial computer boards have all I/O connections rigorously tested to ensure that everything is working properly before the board is certified as ready to ship.

Shipping

After photos are taken to document the exterior condition of the part, it is packaged and sent to the customer. ESD-safe materials are used to protect sensitive equipment on its journey.
