The 19 inch Rugged Ethernet Switch (RES is designed for harsh governmental application conditions, where longevity and reliability is needed. Using highest integration of Ethernet switch silicon, the RES 2400 / 2404 is based on Kontron's proven Ethernet building blocks and management software to quickly install reliable Ethernet networks.

The RES is a cost effective manageable Ethernet switch solution offering more capabilities than just Gigabit Ethernet switching capabilities. It is available in 2 versions:
RES 2400: 24 Gigabit Ethernet copper interfaces, according 10/100/1000BASE-T
RES 2404: RES2400 functions and additional four 1/10 Gigabit Ethernet SFP+ ports
Due to the extensive technical know-how and existing building blocks, Kontron also realizes your custom switch design according to your special requirements.
