COM Express® compact Type 6
The Kontron COMe-cSE6 supports a wide range of processors from high-end industrial temperature grade dual-core with 2x 800MHz at 6W TDP up to commercial temperature grade Quad-Core processors with 4x 2.4GHz at 25W TDP. The use of AMD embedded technology results in the highest graphics performance on display resolutions up to 4k. AMD additionally ensures availability and support for the G-Series APU and SOC up to ten years. With 2x8GB DDR3L dual channel Memory up to 933MH, three independent display outputs driven by the latest HD8000 graphics engine, 2x USB 3.0 and 2x SATA 6Gb/s the module is prepared for performance intensive applications. For external displays, the COMe-cSE6 supports two DP++ and VGA, while one DP++ is shared with onboard eDP to LVDS conversion. Gigabit Ethernet, 6x USB 2.0, optional onboard eMMC Flash up to 64GB and 3 PCIe x1 ports complete the COMe featureset.
In difference to the low power CPU segment from other vendors, the latest AMD SOC can support 4 PCIe 2.0 lanes on COMe PEG Port. This allows usage for discrete graphics cards as well as latest PCI Express based M.2 Solid State Drives up to 20Gb/s.
