18.5" Multi-Touch Bedside Terminal
The BST-1850 multi-touch bedside terminal is a multifunctional slim 18.5" panel PC designed especially for bedside medical care applications. It wins 2013 Taiwan Excellence Award, the symbol of Taiwan Excellence is a distinctive, proprietary logo and the unique trademark for Taiwan's innovalue.
The awarded BST-1850 is a high-performance, multi-function panel PC system aimed at meeting the needs of bedside medical and nursing care. It provides nursing care, real-time clinical data, medical records management and multiple infotainment functions and comes with a projective capacitive multi-touch panel that is built in with an iPhone-level functionality in one body. The system's touch screen is made to be easily disinfected and cleaned, for a medically sterile environment. All plastics in this system are special and certified anti-bacterial, dust-proof, anti-alcohol wipe and chemically resistant.
The unit supports various I/O modules for connecting to web cam, speaker, IC card reader, 2D barcode reader and RFID, etc. It is also expandable to enable fingerprint scanners, IP phone or other peripherals according to customer's demand. Through this platform, doctors and patients can view medical records in an instant. Physician joint-consultation between different divisions in hospitals or small clinics can also be held with built-in webcam.
This system not only offers bedside management and nursing care assistance.
