The American Rotary AD series of phase converters is ideal for CNC, VFD, rectified and other voltage sensitive equipment. This series is available from 3 to 75 hp as standard, if you need something higher just ask. This part is a wall mount model, you can mount the pane upright, at any angle or even upside down! A floor mount kit is available as an accessory (on the left). American Rotary partnered with Baldor Electric to supply their custom-engineered idler/generators. This partnership led to the design of their custom induction generator for phase conversion which reduced inrush current on start-up so drastically that the induction generator was granted a Soft Start rating! The American Rotary MicroSmart™ Controller is a patented technology that gives you precise control of the phase converter. It monitors the voltage every 50 milliseconds providing better voltage control, prolonging the life of the converter, handles significantly more load capacity (ADX and AI), and enabling several failsafe features that are only available on American Rotary's SMART Series™ phase converters. (AD, ADX, and AI units only).
